Happy New Year!
One of the top things I plan on doing this year is finally kicking off a podcast idea I’ve been bouncing around in my brain and planning out for a few months now.
I’m honestly super new to Dungeons & Dragons and being a DM, and I’m always happy to watch other people DM and hear how they prep and think about the game.
So, in an entirely self-serving fashion, I’ll be interviewing ordinary DMs to see exactly that. I’ll be asking what they do for prep, what they think about during the game, how they build encounters, dole out magic items, come up with adventures and ideas, and more.
But, in an somewhat less self-serving fashion, I’d also like to know what things you’d like to know.
What questions should I ask that would bring you the most value? What do you want to know from other DMs like yourself?
