PvP

If your players are anything like mine, they occasionally do things that end up with you sighing and wondering internally whether they’re actually trying to kill each other’s characters.

Player vs player combat is something that I’ve had conflicting feelings about as a DM. I know I’ll challenge my players enough by myself and don’t need their help to do it, but sometimes stuff happens.

Ultimately, whether or not you allow PvP depends on two things.

  1. Your comfort level as a DM. This is your game after all.
  2. Your players.

And, as usual, the easiest way to figure out what your players want is to simply ask. It’s a good session zero question, but also a good one to throw out any night if you haven’t already.
