With the coronavirus pandemic, plenty of in-person games are having to find different ways to meet and play.
Some groups are using Roll20, others are using Discord, or Zoom. Some are using combinations of multiple tools.
One of the groups I’m in has transitioned to a play-by-post format (it’s actually been pretty fun so far – you can see what we’ve got so far here).
The
point is this: We’re all here to have fun and enjoy playing a game
together. For most of us, that’s D&D in person, with your friends
around the table. But it doesn’t have to be.
Try
new things! Whether it’s new ways of playing the same game, or new
games entirely with the same people, let’s use this time to still come
together and tell the stories we love.
