“Let’s start at the very beginning.
A very good place to start.”
At least not when you’re planning a D&D adventure.
I mean, it’s actually not horrible to start with the germ of an idea or a cool opening scene. That works great sometimes.
But you also have to consider the end.
What is the players’ goal? What will the resolution look like? What does winning look like? Losing? Is it possible to lose besides a TPK?
Those are things to think about at the beginning. The very beginning.
So I guess it does make it a good place to start after all.
